Grief and Collective Care Group: A Consultation and Support Space for Social Workers
Facilitator: Nichole Geibel, MSSA, LISW-S 2025 Dates Second Wednesday Sessions:
In these times, many of us who hold space for grieving clients are carrying our own layers of sorrow — not only the personal and professional, but also the collective grief that comes from witnessing political and social injustices in our communities and across the world. This group is a monthly consultation and community care group for social workers who want a supportive space to:
-
Bring clinical questions and challenges about working with grief, loss, and traumatic grief
-
Share strategies and resources for navigating complex grief presentations
-
Acknowledge and process the broader grief and moral distress many of us feel as helping professionals living through turbulent times
-
Connect with peers who understand the weight of this work
We’ll gather virtually, creating a confidential, non-judgmental space to talk about our work, our fears, our frustrations, and our hopes for how we can sustain ourselves — and each other — while we continue to show up for our clients and our communities. We now meet twice each month — on the second Wednesday and the last Monday — so you can choose the time that works best for you.
👉 Register for the Last Monday Session Join us to grieve, reflect, and sustain — together.
