Open Door Columbus serves individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities and their families. To support their annual Halloween Trunk or Treat celebration, we invite folks from the region to join us in passing out candy and enjoying the festivities. This is a family friendly event with opportunities to decorate car trunks, hand out treats, and participate in a variety of Halloween activities.
The event will take place on October 23 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at the Open Door Columbus parking lot, 540 Industrial Mile Road, Columbus, OH 43228. The space is ADA accessible. In case of rain, Open Door will work with participants to reschedule or provide accommodations.
Activities include candy distribution, face painting, haunted hayrides, and the Open Door Tunnel of Terror. The event is hosted by Dr. Cynthia Tyson, Ray Mathew-Santhosham, and Sean Moore from Open Door. It is free to attend and is open to families and community members. In addition to joining us in person, you can help make this event a success by donating candy. If you are unable to attend but would still like to support, please consider purchasing items from our Amazon Wish List>>
