About the workshop: Public Service Loan Forgiveness, or PSLF, seems like a blessing and a curse. While it sounds like an easy way to discharge debt for those employed in public service, the program is complicated and can be difficult to navigate. The amount of bad information floating around has been discouraging to many. This presentation will clear up some of that misinformation and show you the path to potentially obtaining forgiveness for your student debt burdens, as well as discuss how to prepare for the change in servicers that will be occurring late 2021-early 2022. About the presenter: Jennifer Tiedt, MSW, LISW-S, earned a BA in Women's Studies from Bowling Green State University, and her MSW from The Ohio State University. She has worked for Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging in the Community, Education, and Outreach department since 2013, and began presenting on the PSLF program to her colleagues in 2017.
