Ohio House Bill 8 (HB8), which went into effect April 9, 2025 mandates that all Ohio school's implement a policy that outlines a list of items that must be reported to parents as soon as possible (including transgender identities), places limits on discussions of "sexuality content and gender ideology", and mandates release time for religious education. It states that school's policies must be in place by July 1, 2025. Each schools policy will likely look different.
