In the summer of 2022 ASWB finally released demographic data for pass rates for their social work exams, see graphics. The disparity in pass rates for people with marginalized identities is appalling, even more so when focusing on first time exam takers. All social work institutions including social work higher education programs, licensing boards, ASWB, and NASW are called to action to address systemic racism within our profession. We are committed to demanding solutions to move social work
closer to an equitable profession.
