We will share case scenarios, interventions and strategies for successful community partnerships to combat elder abuse and exploitation. By the end of this session you should be able to review the NASW Code of Ethics and mandatory reporting responsibilities, know the revisions to the Ohio Adult Protective Services program laws and regulations, know the Ohio mandatory reporter requirements, including immunity and the failure to report. Recognize common characteristics and risk factors of victims and perpetrators, and know the definitions and differences of capacity, competency and self-determination.</p>]]></description>

            <p style="margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">NASW Ohio Chapter offers members free, one-hour, online CEU presentations on the second Wednesday of each month from 10-11 a.m. All you need is access to internet. If you cannot log in during this time, the presentation will be recorded and available to members to view at their convenience.<br />

            <strong>How It Works: </strong>CEUs are given only to those attending the full hour, whether you are watching live or via the recorded broadcast. At the conclusion of the webinar, complete the post-test and evaluation to receive your CEU certificate. Your certificate will be emailed to you within five business days.<br />
