About the Workshop:

 

4:30pm-5:00pm- Networking

5:00pm-6:00pm- Workshop

 

 During this workshop, attendees will gain knowledge on how losing someone to suicide impacts loved ones. The presenter will review 'normal' reactions to suicide, Posttraumatic Growth, the "R" Process, and the "Canyon of Why" guided by handouts and a short video. This workshop is a brief introduction to be able to assist clients and understand where they are at when they have lost someone to suicide.

Region 2 will hold a free CEU on what it is like for someone to lose someone to suicide at Akron Children’s Hospital. Please arrive prior to 5pm. Park in the Bowery Street parking deck located at 199 W Bowery St, Akron, OH 44308. The workshop is being held in the Considine Professional Classroom One on the second floor.
