The 9-hour Supervision Certificate Program provides a strong foundation of supervision skills, developed to meet all educational requirements for supervision designation by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board.

The Supervision Certificate Program will be presented by the curriculum developers, Richard Boettcher, PhD, LISW-S and Linda Helm, PhD, LISW-S, ACSW, two social workers with extensive experience in teaching and in the field. The 9-hour program is divided into three units allowing participants to choose the delivery method that works best in their schedule.


There are three ways to take this course; choose the option that works best for you.

Option 1 (Take all 9 hours in-person.)

Cost: $135 for members of NASW and OACCA; $225 for non-members

 

You take Unit 1 (Fundamentals of Supervision) on Friday from 2:00-5:00 PM. Then, on Saturday, you take Unit 2 (The Role & Functions of a Social Work Supervisor) from 9:00 AM - 12:15 PM and Unit 3 (Styles of Supervision & Leadership) from 1:15-4:30 PM.

Option 2 (Take Unit 1 online; take Units 2 & 3 in-person.)

Cost: $135 for members of NASW and OACCA; $225 for non-members

 

You take Unit 1 (Fundamentals of Supervision) online before the in-person course on Saturday. You will need to bring confirmation that you passed this course.

Option 3 (Choose which units you want to take.)

Cost: $45 per workshop for members of NASW and OACCA/$75 per workshop for non-members

 

Friday - Unit 1 (Fundamentals of Supervision), 2:00-5:00 PM
Saturday- Unit 2 (The Role & Functions of a Social Work Supervisor), 9:00 AM - 12:15 PM
Saturday - Unit 3 (Styles of Supervision & Leadership), 1:15-4:30 PM
