Resource Guide on Interpretation Services for Domestic Violence Victims

The Asian & Pacific Islander Institute on Domestic Violence has published a Resource Guide for Advocates & Attorneys on Interpretation Services for Domestic Violence Victims. The guide addresses the following topics: language access rights and laws; knowledge, skills, abilities, and codes of conduct for interpreters; understanding how bilingual speakers and interpreters differ; tips on working with interpreters; and interpretation for deaf victims with limited English proficiency.
