Education Information: Tim received his Master of Social Work from Columbia University School of Social Work, New York, NY, 1995; Bachelor Degree in Social Work, Concordia College, Bronxville, NY, 1994

Past NASW Positions: Tim served as a member of the NASW Virginia Chapter Board of Directors from 2001 to 2003. 

Current Employment:  Post-Deployment Clinic Combat Psychotherapist/Clinical Social Worker, Dayton VA Medical Center, Dayton, Ohio.

Other Information: Provided research assistance during graduate school as a Better Way Coalition member when the organization was in a start-up phase, 2003-2004


Peggy Anderson
Treasurer

Education: Peggy has her BSW from the University of Rio Grande and her MSW The Ohio State University.

Previous NASW Positions: Peggy has served in numerous positions with the Chapter including: MSW Student on the Board from 1997-1997, Chair
of the State Awards Taskforce from 1997-1999, a Delegate for Delegate Assembly from 1997-2000, as Region 5 Director from 1997-1998, as Secretary from 2004-2006, and as 2nd Vice president from 2006-2008.

Current Employment: Peggy is the Chief Operating Officer at the AIDS Resource Center Ohio (Columbus AIDS Task Force)

Other Information: Peggy has received the following awards from NASW: Ohio BSW Student of the Year, 1996, Region V Social Worker of the Year 2007, and Region V Lifetime Achievement 2010.


Tracey Walker-Askew, LISW-S, ACSW, C-SWHC
Secretary

Education: MSSA CWRU 1994, BSH Ohio University 1991

Current Employment: Louis Stokes Veteran’s Administration Medical Center.  Position: Veteran’s Justice Outreach Specialist- Preventing homelessness by connecting eligible justice-involved Veterans with needed mental health, substance abuse, and other VA services, when possible, as an alternative to incarceration or other traditional criminal sanctions.
