Position Title: Lecturer, Social Work Program, University of Toledo
MSW from a CWE-accredited program. 3 years of post-MSW practice experience and 3 years of experience as an agency based field instructor. 2 years’ experience in higher education as a full-time, part-time, or adjunct instructor of social work. Working knowledge of CSWE competency standards. Ohio LSW license. Ability to communicate effectively, orally, and in writing.
LISW/LISW-S and 5 years' post-MSW practice experience and agency based field instructor experience. Experience with Blackboard mode of instruction.
Full teaching load fall and spring semesters (4 courses per semester), teaching field seminar courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Maintains regular contact with field internship instructors to monitor student performance, ensure learning opportunities, and deal with performance problems. Will require travel to various field sites. Work with Field Director on future planning for student placements and to develop learning opportunities. Hold regularly scheduled office hours. Attend faculty meetings, field committee/information meetings, and other meetings/trainings as requested.
Full Time: Minimum $42,000 for 9 months (academic year)
Term: Non-Tenure Track, one year renewal
